2016-2018 Zonta International and Zonta International Foundation President Sonja Hönig Schough presents Zonta’s goals and programs for the 2016-2018 Biennium
Zonta International is adopting two new international service projects in Madagascar and Nepal and will build upon our progress in Liberia and Niger, as voted on by delegates at the 2016 Convention. These four projects ensure a better future for women and girls through education and economic sustainability. Zonta is also continuing our educational fellowship, scholarship and award programs to encourage women to enter male-dominated fields.This biennium, it is also important for us to empower one another. When Zonta clubs meet, members should feel supported in their own lives and encouraged to impact their local communities. Together, we empower women worldwide.
