December 2019 Newsletter

There is a lot to read about in this issue of the Bog!

Ÿ Don’t miss the recap of our very successful Centennial Founder’s Day and our delegate’s report on the amazing District 1 Fall Conference.

Ÿ Just in time for holiday giving is the list of books on strong women compiled by our local libraries.

Ÿ We are in the midst of the 16 Days of Activism and the Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women campaign. Check out the great write-up providing background on our advocacy initiatives.

Ÿ We are also wrapping up the Poinsettia plant orders. Hoping for the best year yet, with everyone’s help.

Ÿ Getting together with the women from SoldierOn has been such fun this year. Don’t miss this opportunity.

Ÿ January will be an inspirational meeting with several young people being honored. Think about who you want to invite.

Ÿ February’s Period Project is coming up, too!  We need to get started immediately after the holidays to pull this off.

Thank you for taking the time to peruse this issue. Looking forward to wishing the best of he season to each of you on December 9th.  REMINDER: we will be collecting items at our December meeting for children staying in shelters over the holidays. Representatives from the YWCA of Western MA and Ware’s Gifts for Kids will be on hand.

Be sure to RSVP for yourself and your guests.
