Strong Women and Girls Read

As we celebrate 100 years of empowering women and girls, the club is partnering with four local libraries to stock up on great books featuring some of the most awesome and inspiring female characters ever created. Head librarians at Monson, Palmer, Ludlow and Belchertown have provided us with an incredible list of books for youth, young adults and adults that they would obtain in honor of Zonta’s 100th birthday – each would include a tribute bookplate to Zonta and the Quaboag Valley Club – and feature in their individual libraries. While the libraries do purchase books with women role models, they are unable to do so on this scale. This is an opportunity to broaden our outreach in our local communities and highlight women and girls who refused to stay silent.
